Corey Hascall

Corey Hascall has extensive experience providing strategy, media relations, operations, planning, and communications work in a variety of settings.

Just before joining Barton & Gingold, Corey served as campaign manager on Ethan Strimling’s campaign for U.S. Congress. Her past work also includes political and strategic communications consulting at one of Maine’s premier public relations firms where she managed the Yes on 7 Campaign to Save Maine's Working Waterfront Jobs, 2005 (which won with a 72-28% margin), 2003’s successful statewide referendum campaign CasinosNO!, and two winning local anti-racino campaigns, as well as numerous state legislative and municipal elections.

Corey also serves as the Executive Director of A Rising Tide, a non-partisan, not-for-profit campaign leadership training institute for Maine’s young people that she co-founded in 2003.

A South Portland, Maine native, Corey did her undergraduate study at both Boston University and the University of Southern Maine, where she graduated with a degree in Political Science. In 1998-99 Corey served as intern at the Maine Women’s Lobby dedicating her time to projects like the Women’s Leadership Project, Girls Day at the State House, and No on 1, a campaign to defeat a proposed ban on late term abortions. Corey currently lives in Portland.
